Robot cell designed for introduction to industrial robotics with a 6-axis KUKA robot

Description of the system :

The 6-axis Robotics Initiation Cell is an industrial didactic system allowing to be initiated and to improve oneself to applications and projects implementing a 6-axis industrial robot with industrial vision.

The cell is available in two sizes: 800 mm (RK10) or 1100 mm (RK20).

6-axis industrial robot Kuka Agilus KR3 radius 540mm, payload 3kg

Controller and SmartPad (colour touch panel)

Secure speaker (two widths to choose from, 800 mm or 1100 mm)

Pedagogical activities :

Apprehend the different operating modes of a 6-axis industrial robot :

  • "Operator setting" mode: control from the SmartPAD in slow speed with "dead man's" safety and active door safety
  • Service technician" mode: control from the SmartPAD at low speed with "dead man's" safety and inactive door security
  • Automatic Production" mode: automatic control at high speed
  • Synchronised Automatic Production" mode: automatic control at high speed with synchronisation on events external to the cell.
